Train to be the best

We’ll provide all the training and support you need to achieve your potential as a face-to-face fundraiser

What we ask of you

To be a face-to-face fundraiser, you need to be 18 years old or over. All we ask for is a vibrant personality and a willingness to learn and make a difference. We’ll provide the rest as part of our fundraising training programme.

You don’t need any previous experience. All we ask for is a vibrant personality, with a willingness to learn and make a difference. We’ll provide the rest as part of our fundraising training programme.

You will have ambitious targets to achieve, but you’ll be supported every step of the way. We’ll supply all the fundraising training you need to grow in confidence and succeed.

Part-time fundraising roles

We have a variety of options available. Each area will be looking for different part-time commitments from a minimum of 1 day per week – please include your part-time expectations in your cover letter when applying for a role.

Full-time fundraising roles

We ask you to commit to working full-time from July to early September. You’ll work a 5-day week, which will include weekends in July and August. And while it’s not essential, if you’re a driver with a valid UK or Irish licence that will be a big help.

How we’ll support you

Before you start the job, you’ll receive an introduction to fundraising for the RNLI, as well as learning how to start inspiring conversations. You’ll meet the lifeguards and lifeboat crew in your local community, which will help bring the charity to life for you. And you’ll find out when and how to share water safety messages.

We’ll make sure you feel confident and capable before you start the role.

We’ll also offer you one-to-one coaching to help you build confidence so that you can reach your full potential.

Get in touch

We’ve got an opportunity that will suit you. No matter your background or level of experience, if this feels like the role for you, apply now and let’s have a chat.

Or, if you have any questions before applying for one of our face-to-face fundraising roles, email us at f2f@rnli.org.uk.
